Do I need a reservation to visit Fahey Family Farm?
Yes. All farm visits and experiences require advance booking through our Facebook page. This allows us to properly prepare for guests while keeping both visitors and our animals safe and comfortable.
Where is Fahey Family Farm located?
We are located in Wilhoit, Arizona. It is about a 30 minute drive from Prescott and a little over an hour and a half from Phoenix. Exact arrival instructions can be provided after booking confirmation.
What animals will we see during our visit?
Guests may meet our Scottish Highland cows, donkeys, sheep, chickens, horses, and other friendly farm animals! Animal interactions may vary depending on the experiences booked and the comfort level of the animals.
Can we pet or cuddle the animals?
Yes, during designated experiences. However, all interactions are animal led. Our animals may choose to engage, rest, eat, or keep their space, and we always prioritize their comfort and wellbeing.
What should we wear to the farm?
Please wear comfortable, weather appropriate farm attire and closed toe shoes. The farm includes gravel paths, grass, and natural terrain that may become muddy depending on weather conditions.
Are pets allowed?
For the safety of our animals and guests, outside pets are not permitted on the farm.
What happens if it rains?
Most experiences operate rain or shine. We recommend dressing appropriately for the weather. In cases of severe or unsafe conditions, guests will be contacted regarding rescheduling.
Do you allow alcohol on the property?
No. Fahey Family Farm is a no alcohol venue to maintain a safe, peaceful, and family friendly environment for guests and animals.
Can we take photos during our visit?
Yes. Guests are welcome and encouraged to take photos for personal use. Professional photography sessions must be scheduled in advance or booked through one of our photography experiences.
